Do you realize the immense power that comes from a simple practice of gratitude?

Gratitude and appreciation for what you have occupies your mind with positivity. Focusing on what you lack fills your mind with negativity that breeds thoughts of bitterness, jealousy, and resentment. Recognizing the many gifts and blessings, large and small, that life brings to you attracts more of the same. 

Some say that they are grateful yet find themselves experiencing negative thoughts when life doesn’t go the way they expect it to. Some say they have little to be grateful for yet truly have an abundance. Good and bad things happen in life every day. What outlook we choose to focus on is entirely up to us.

When we focus on what we lack, we create blockages and limitations.  We become imprisoned by our negative energy.  As a result, we attract what we think, negativity, while repelling the very things we desire.  

Having gratitude does not mean denying that problems exist.  The experiences and challenges we face in the course of our lifetime are many.  It is about incorporating a simple practice that changes our perspective and opens us up to the natural flow of abundance.

 The more grateful we are, the more we are given to be grateful for.

Take a moment to recognize something positive that you may not have previously acknowledged. Do this simple practice first thing every morning and see what a difference it will make in your life.
